MPW Embark on Construction of Dixville-Caldwell Road

The Ministry of Public Works as part of it’s plan on road connectivity and construction has embarked on reconnecting the Dixville-Caldwell road as it had been a major challenge for the people of both communities.

This bad road condition has been a major problem for about five (5) year, but with the assurance of the Ministry of Public Works Dixville will now be connected to Caldwell and to Duals and other place which will ease the flow of traffic, allowing drivers ranging from cab to heavy city vehicles to be able the travel from Duals to Barnersville and it’s environ in a shorter time

According to the MPW minister designate, Minister Ruth Coker-Collins

“A short stretch of road between Dixville and Caldwell has been a concern for many commuters for years running.

Infact only detour could get one to enter through Caldwell from the Dixville side but we finally have some good news.

Our boots are currently on the route and this hurdle is expected to be history; Dixville will now be finally connected to Caldwell onwards to Duala and other places making it very easy for buses and other vehicles to ply between Duala, Barnersville and beyond.”

She added

“We’re getting there!!”
